Drug Seizure: Heroin Worth Over 240 Million Kyats Seized In Lashio

According to the information released by Myanmar Police Force, heroin worth over 240 million kyats were seized in Lashio, the northern Shan State.

On 16th January, a combined team of Anti-narcotics Drug Unit checked a vehicle driven by Aik Man on Lashio-Namtu motor road near Naung Laing village in Lashio Township and confiscated 16.5 kilos of heroin hidden on board of vehicle.

Action was taken against culprit Aik Man under the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Law. He would carry the seized heroin from Lashio to Mongton townships and sell in Manton-Moe Meik-Kachin State.
