Covid-19 Report: 1,476 New Covid-19 Cases At 8 P.M. On Dec. 1

Ministry of Health and Sports at 8 p.m. on Tuesday reported 1,476 new COVID-19 cases after testing 18,959 lab specimens. 31 COVID-19 patients lost their lives due to the disease while 1,187 patients have been discharged from hospitals. COVID-19 cases in Myanmar had reached 92,189 with 1,972 deaths at 8 p.m. on the 1st of December, and 71,343 COVID-19 patients have been discharged so far.

The World’s worst-hit countries are United States of America, India, Brazil, Russian Federation, France, Spain, the United Kingdom, Italy, Argentina and Colombia, according to the World Health Organization. Globally, as of 7:08pm CET, 1 December 2020, there have been over 62.84 million confirmed cases of COVID-19, including over 1.46 million deaths, reported to WHO.

Most people infected with the COVID-19 virus will experience mild to moderate respiratory illness and recover without requiring special treatment. Older people and those with underlying medical problems are more likely to develop serious illness.
