Covid-19 Fight: Magway Region Red Cross Society Helping Yangon

People in Myanmar have been fighting together against COVID-19. Members of the Red Cross Society have been helping Yangon Region in its COVID-19 prevention, control and treatment as COVID-19 infection has surged in the Region. Currently, 39 members of Magway Region Red Cross Society are helping the 500-bed Hlaing COVID-19 Treatment Center – they will continue their help till the 5th of December. Since the establishment of the Center, Red Cross Society members from Ayeyawaddy Region, Nay Pyi Taw and Mon State provided their assistance.

Members of the Red Cross Society who will help the Center are briefed about the situation of the Center, tasks and risks in advance. Currently, at this Hlaing COVID-19 Treatment Center, there are about 500 COVID-19 patients, it’s learnt.
