Hotel Quarantine: 46 Seamen Put 14-Day Hotel Quarantine In Kawthough

A total of 46 Myanmar seamen from the ships that arrived from Singapore, Malaysia, Bangladesh and Indonesia arrived in Kawthoung on Monday evening.

They signed off from the ships to make crew change in the Andaman Sea near Kawthoung. Departmental officials from Kawthough and the Health Department conducted medical screenings to them.

They have been put 14-day hotel quarantine in Kawthough and their swabs would be sent to the National Health Laboratory (Yangon) for the COVID-19 tests. These 46 signed off seamen made crew change with the seafarers who would sign on the ships of MT.VIRGO Phonix, M.V MCC Danang, MTM. Colorado, MV. Kota Arif, and MV. Yangze 10.
