COVID-19 UPDATE: MINISTRY REPORTS 1,423 NEW COVID-19 CASES ON 24th OCT.

Ministry of Health and Sports reported 1,423 new COVID-19 cases at 8 p.m. on Saturday after testing a total of 14,230 lab specimens within 24 hours, 28 new deaths and 1,254 Patients discharged from the hospitals on 24th October. COVID-19 confirmed cases in Myanmar have reached 43,788 with 1,066 deaths and 23,708 patients discharged from the hospital until 8 p.m. on 24th October.

The World’s worst-hit countries are United States of America with over 8.32 million confirmed cases followed by India, Brazil, Russian Federation, Argentina, Spain, France, Colombia, Peru and Mexico according to the World Health Organization.

Globally, as of 3:02 pm CEST on 24th October 2020, there have been over 42.05 million confirmed cases of COVID-19, including over 1.14 million deaths, reported to WHO.
