COVID-19 REPORT; MINISTRY REPORTS 888 NEW COVID-19 CASES AT 8 P.M. ON OCT. 14

Ministry of Health and Sports at 8 p.m. on Wednesday reported 888 new COVID-19 cases after testing 9,656 lab specimens.

39 COVID-19 patients lost their lives due to the disease while 2,097 patients have been discharged from hospitals. COVID-19 cases in Myanmar had reached 31,325 with 732 deaths at 8 p.m. on the 14th of October, and 13,866 COVID-19 patients have been discharged so far.

Most people infected with the COVID-19 virus will experience mild to moderate respiratory illness and recover without requiring special treatment.
Older people and those with underlying medical problems are more likely to develop serious illness.
