


COVID-19 treatment accommodation preparations at Yangon General Hospital entered its 3rd day on the 9th of October.
On the request by Yangon Region Government in order to give more special treatment for COVID-19 patients, the 8 works under 11 topics at the General Hospital are being carried out by Shwe Than Lwin Company Limited (SKY NET) in cooperation with Myanmar Licensed Contractors Association (MLCA).
Chairman, Shwe Than Lwin Company Limited (SKY NET), Kyaw Win said "On the request by Dr. Zaw Wai Soe and Yangon Region Chief Minister, we formed a working committee to conduct these preparations for ICU, fences and more facilities within a few days.
As Yangon General Hospital has skilled medical professionals and medical equipments, it can save more COVID-19 patients’ lives.
Free daily food service will be provided for the patients, volunteers and medical staff. I’d like to say a big thank you to all contributors."
It is learnt that, thousands of COVID-19 patients can undergo treatment when the preparations are completed at the Hospital. The working committee is running its speedy operation with contractors.

Thet Ko Ko said "These works started on the 7th of October.
For the works, we had to relocate the patients to other suitable wards under the arrangement of the Hospital.
Also, we have many things to move. But, we are going to finish the whole process as fast as possible within a few days. I’m really glad to have participated in this task."
Managing Director, Hein Htet Tha Construction Company, Kyi Soe said "We are responsible for preparation works 7 and 8 which are air-conditioning, ironclad fencing, electricity, toilet and cleansing. We are really glad to contribute towards these tasks."
In cooperation with Myanmar Licensed Contractors Association (MLCA), Shwe Than Lwin Company Limited (SKY NET) is fulfilling the requirements at COVID-19 treatment center in South Dagon (Aung Myint Mo) Housing and Temporary Hospitals in Dagon Seikkan 1 and 2 of Yoma Housing as well as implementing the giant Inya Lake COVID Center.
