

Well-wishers have been contributing cash and kinds for fighting the global pandemic COVID-19, in cooperation with the Ministry of Health and Sports.
Since the numbers of COVID-19 confirmed cases have been increased, it needs to implement temporary hospitals to be used as COVID-19 Treatment Centres.
For COVID-19 Treatment Centres in South Dagon (Aung Myint Mo), Dagon Seikkan 1 (Yoma Housing 1) and Dagon Seikkan 2 (Yoma Housing 2), the initial fund of 700 million kyats, 400 million kyats was contributed by ShweThanLwin Company (SkyNet) and 300 million kyats by the Federation of Myanmar Licensed Contractors Association (MLCA).
There are currently a total of 2,000 people including 900 patients, 200 health care workers and 100 volunteers at the treatment centers in Yoma Housing 1 and Yoma Housing 2. Also, there are a total of over 2,600 people including over 2,000 patients, 100 health care workers and 70 volunteers at treatment center in Aung Myint Mo Housing.
It is learnt that Shwe Than Lwin Company (SKY NET) and MLCA will be working together with Temporary Hospital Administrators and medical officers-in-charge, respective administrative organizations, volunteers and supporting teams to provide the donation and assistance as much as possible for taking the measures of prevention, control and treatment for COVID-19 disease as a national duty.
Shwe Than Lwin Company (SKY NET) and MLCA have been providing assistance and supply to COVID-19 Treatment Centres in South Dagon (Aung Myint Mo), Dagon Seikkan 1 (Yoma Housing 1) and Dagon Seikkan 2 (Yoma Housing 2) since 28th September.
They have also been performing in repairing works such as construction of fences, formation of rooms, repairs of bath rooms and toilets at COVID-19 Treatment Department of Yangon General Hospital since 6 October.
