COVID CENTER: INYA LAKE COVID CENTER TO COMPLETE WITHIN A WEEK

Inya Lake COVID Center is being implemented within a week in cooperation with technicians, construction workers and respective teams.

For the convenience of accommodations for COVID-19 patients, Yangon Convention Center (YCC) will be used as COVID center and the construction process is underway starting from 29th September.

President, Waminn Group of Companies, Khun Naung Myo Wai said " The construction of the center was started since Tuesday.
We are working our best to implement the center as quickly as possible within a week and we learnt that the patients are waiting to be accommodated at the center.
There are some difficulties on the availability of the required items and to hire experienced workers, whatever it is we will do our best."

Hospital Space planner, Inya Lake COVID Center, Soe Hlaing said "A meeting was held for stages of design of the center since 3 days ago and the design is drawn based on the area of the center.
Now we are preparing to give better facilities to the patients who will be housed at the center and relaxing area and dining area will be included for the convenience of the patients.
According the instructions of Prof. Dr. Zaw Wai Soe, the patients with good health will be accommodated at the center and High-Dependency Unit area will be included for the patients who need oxygen supplies."

About 500 patients, with 4 patients in each room will be housed at the center and necessary personal items including bed sheet, pillow case and many more will be provided in accordance with the medical standard. In addition, the center will be upgraded to accommodate up to 1,000 patients, if necessary and drugs for patients, breakfast, lunch and dinner will be provided for free of charge."

Deputy Managing Director, Shwe Than Lwin Co., Ltd. (Sky Net), Tint San said "Now, we are working for Inya Lake COVID center where new COVID-19 patients will be accommodated.
The center is implementing in collaboration of 4 companies including KBZ, Shwe Than Lwin, Jasmine and Waminn companies. At the same time, Thuwannabumi Event Park and Thandithukha monastery will be used as COVID centers, if necessary."

At the same time, rooms for relaxation of doctors, nurses and volunteers will be included in the center and a tent will be constructed beside the center, if necessary.

Operation Manager, Yangon Convection Center, Su Yee Mon said "Yangon Convection Center will be used as COVID center with free of charge as the number of COVID cases is on the rise in the region.
Now we are working to conduct the construction process easily in cooperation with Myanmar Licensed Contractors Association and Pico group and we will make more efforts to use the center as high level standard hospital."

Account Director, Pico, Yee Yee Mon said "Our group is supporting in the construction process and over 30 workers are currently working to complete the construction as soon as possible from 6 am to 6 pm."

The Inya Lake COVID center is being implemented with the contribution of well-wishers including KBZ group, Shwe Than Lwin Co., Ltd (Sky Net), Waminn group of companies and Jasmine Co., Ltd. 700 million kyats from KBZ group and 300 million Kyats from Shwe Than Lwin Co., Ltd (Sky Net) are supporting to implement the center as quickly as possible, it’s learnt.
