HOSPITAL QUARANTINE: OVER 900 PATIENTS RECEIVED AT YOMA YEIK THA

With the arrangement of Yangon Region Government, Yoma YeikTha in Dagon Myothit (Seikkan) Township has be transformed from the Facility Quarantine Center to the Hospital Quarantine Center.

All the buildings will be installed with air condition, SkyNet TV Receivers and wifi system for the convenience of the patients.

Aung Naing Oo said "This building was first used as the facility quarantine center. But it will be now transformed into the hospital quarantine center where the positive patients will be treated. Since the beginning, we are working together with Township General Administrative Department in preparation measures with the assistance with the Township Red Cross Society, Fire Brigade and the charity organizations."

Together with the Yoma YeikTha Administrative Board, members of Township Development Affairs Committee, 128 health staff, 15 drivers, 36 members of police force, 5 members of fire brigade, 8 members of Red Cross, 138 volunteers from the Region and 5 volunteers from the Township working as the core members of the center. There are also volunteers who are working on a daily basis.

Well-wishers are also donating lunch boxes, drinking water bottles and other necessities.
Staff Officer, Dagon Myothit (Seikkan) Township Fire Services Department, Htoo Chun Win said "Since the center has been transformed into the hospital quarantine, it needs to add more beds and other necessities. We are here to provide necessary assistance in preparation measures."

At present, 936 positive patients have been received so far at Yoma Yeiktha Hospital Quarantine Center.
