COVID-19 Containment: Volunteers Invited To Help In Testing Swab Samples

According to the decision of Mandalay Region COVID-19 Containment and Emergency response Committee’s meeting, volunteers have been invited to help in testing the swab samples of COVID-19 patients and trainings are being conducted to them to take nasal and oral swabs and to make PPE donning and doffing systematically, according to the Head of Mandalay Region Public Health Department.

Most of the people from medical teams have applied for the volunteers.

There are 60 people and trainings are being conducted for the 1st and 2nd batch.

If the volunteers have no experience in medical knowledge, it is planned that they are arranged to conduct at the place of collecting data of suspected cases.
