Repatriation Process: 46 Returnees Repatriated To The Regions/States Via Lashio

46 Myanmar people including 27 males and 19 females returning from China through the border gates in Laukkai and Chin Shwe Haw of Kokang Self-administered Zone in the northern Shan State have been repatriated to the respective regions and states by train via Lashio on Tuesday.

The returnees were 3 from Chin State, 10 from Sagaing Region, 2 from Bago Region, 1 each from Magway and Ayeyawady Regions, 25 from Rakhine State and 4 from Yangon Region. From 6th May to 22nd September, a total of 16,598 returnees including 10,195 men and 6,403 women have been repatriated systematically.
