COVID-19 REPORT: MINISTRY REPORTS 273 NEW COVID-19 CASES AT 8 P.M. ON SEPT. 22

Ministry of Health and Sports reported 273 new COVID-19 cases at 8 p.m. on Tuesday, according to the lab results of the National Health laboratory (Yangon), the Department of Medical Research, the Public Health Laboratories in Mandalay, Mawlamyaing and Taunggyi, the people’s Hospitals in Sittway, Kyauk Phyu, Muse, Myeik, Pyay, Myitkyina, Myaung Mya, TaungOo, Magway, Hpa-An, Hakha, Pathein and Myawaddy as well as 1000-bed Nay Pyi Taw General Hospital and No.2 1000-bed Defence Services Hospital (Nay Pyi Taw).

A total of 2,499 lab specimens from were tested and 273 new cases were found.

COVID-19 confirmed cases in Myanmar reached 6,743 with 115 deaths at 8 p.m. on the 22nd of September.

Among the old confirmed cases, a total of 1,951 patients have been discharged from the hospital.
