


Authorities and medical professionals have been working hard to prevent, control and treat Covid-19 disease in Myanmar.
In Sittwe of Rakhine State, 44 Covid-19 Positive patients put in quarantine in Sittwe People’s Hospital, Nurse and Midwifery training School, and Sittwe Traditional Medicine Hospital were discharged and have been put under 7 days home quarantine.
The assigned doctors from the hospital assisted the patients in discharging from the hospital and urged them to strictly follow the necessary health guidelines from the Ministry of Health and Sports.
Meanwhile, the “covid-19 recovery” certificates were also presented to the discharged patients.
The members from the Public Health Department, Myanmar Red Cross Society and Shwe Yaung Myittar Foundation transported the discharged patients to their homes.
According to the officials, from September 5th to 21st, about 378 patients have been discharged from the hospitals in Sittwe, Rakhine State.
