COVID-19 REPORT: MINISTRY REPORTS 393 NEW COVID-19 CASES AT 8 A.M. ON SEPT. 20

Ministry of Health and Sports at 8 a.m. on Sunday reported 393 new COVID-19 cases after testing 3,132 lab specimens.

The tests were conducted in laboratories and general hospitals. COVID-19 cases in Myanmar have now reached 5,263 with 81 deaths at 8 a.m. on the 20th of September.

The World’s worst-hit countries are United States of America, India, Brazil, Russian Federation, Peru, Colombia, Mexico, South Africa, Spain and Argentina, according to the World Health Organization.

Globally, as of 3:28pm CEST, 19 September 2020, there have been over 30.36 million confirmed cases of COVID-19, including over 948,000 deaths, reported to WHO. Most people infected with the COVID-19 virus will experience mild to moderate respiratory illness and recover without requiring special treatment.

Older people and those with underlying medical problems are more likely to develop serious illness.
