COVID-19 REPORT: MINISTRY REPORTS 249 NEW COVID-19 CASES AT 8 P.M. ON SEPT. 19

Ministry of Health and Sports at 8 p.m. on Saturday reported 249 new COVID-19 cases after testing 2,166 lab specimens.

The tests were conducted in laboratories and general hospitals. COVID-19 cases in Myanmar had reached 4,870 with 81 deaths at 8 p.m. on the 19th of September.

Most people infected with the COVID-19 virus will experience mild to moderate respiratory illness and recover without requiring special treatment.

Older people and those with underlying medical problems are more likely to develop serious illness.
