
Ministry of Health and Sports at 8 a.m. on Monday reported 12 new COVID-19 cases after testing 1,172 lab specimens. The new patients are residents of Mingaladon Township of Yangon Region and Kyaukphyu, Sittwe, Ponnakyun and Kyauktaw townships of Rakhine State. COVID-19 cases in Myanmar have now reached 787 with 6 deaths.
While 352 patients have recovered from the disease, 347 of them have been discharged from the hospitals and put under quarantine.
