
Ministry of Health and Sports at 8:00 a.m. on Thursday reported 6new COVID-19 cases after testing 1031 lab specimens as the second batch. COVID-19 cases in Myanmar have now reached 586 with 6 deaths till 8:00 Am on 27th August.
While 345 patients have recovered from the disease, 339 of them have been discharged from the hospitals and put under quarantine. Totaling 2296 lab specimens were tested by the National Health Laboratory (NHL), Department of Medical Research (DMR), Public Health Laboratory (Mandalay), Public Health Laboratory (Mawlamyaing) Sittwe People’s General Hospital, Kyaukphyu People’s General Hospital and No.1 1000 Tatmadaw Hospital (Yangon) from 26th to the morning of 27th August.
