Smooth Transport: Air-Cushion Trains To Run On Yangon-Mawlamyaing Route

For the smooth transportation of commuters during COVID-19 period and ensuring travel with high standard, Myanmar Railways will operate daily No. 83 air-cushion up train and No.84 down train on Yangon-Mawlamyaingrail route as of 22nd August.

 Mawlamyaing-Yangon 84 down-train will depart at 9:00 pm and arrived in Yangon at 7:00 am. Yangon-Mawlamyaing 83 up train will leave from Yangon at 8:00 pm and will arrived in Mawlamyaing at 5:00 am.The price of train ticket will be 4000 kyats for ordinary class and 8000 kyats for upper class. The tickets will be sold starting 7:00 am in one day advance.

The air-conditioned train has 9 coaches; 5 coaches for ordinary class and 4 coaches for upper class and the train will stop in five stations; Paung, Thahton, Taung Sone, KyaikHto and Bago stations, according to the Myanma Railways.
