Ice Seizure: Ice Worth Over 31.74 Billion Kyats Seized

Hundreds of kilograms of ICE destined for territorial waters of Malaysia near Indonesia were seized in Rakhine State, Ministry of Home Affairs reported. Acting on a tip-off, police raided a motor boat anchored near Maung Dauk Creek near Kyeintali Township of Rakhine State.

The raid led to the seizure of 1,380 kilograms of ICE worth over 31.74 billion Kyats. 5 suspects were arrested along with the seizure. Actions were taken against the suspects under the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Law.
