COVID-19 Relief Plan: Assistance To Be Provided To Fish Breeding Ponds In Ayeyawady Region

Under COVID-19 Economic Relief Plan (CERP), the Department of Fisheries in Ayeyawady Region of the Ministry of Agriculture, Livestock and Irrigation will distribute fish species and fingerlings to survive again fish breeding and fishery sector in the Region after COVID-19 period. 

In doing so, the government will provide free 2000 carps worth 40,000 kyats to per acre for more than 54,000 acres of fish breeding ponds in the region. The provision will be undertaken from 1st to 30th September, according to the Department of Fisheries in the Region.
