Flooding In Pwintphyu: Ayeyawaddy River Water Level Rises, Floods Nearly 500 Houses

Ayeyawaddy River water level has risen and flooded 4 villages in Pwintphyu Township area of Magway Region.

486 houses have been flooded in the 4 villages of NanTawKyun, Htoo, NgaChaukKyun and MyinChanSu in the township area. NanTawKyun Village-tract Administrator said the villages experience the flooding at this time every year and no need to evacuate the people yet, according to the Information and Public Relations Department.
