Religious Affairs: 5th Meeting Of 8th State Sangha Maha Nayaka Committee

The 5th meeting of the 47-member leading committee of the 8th State Sangha Maha Nayaka Committee concluded on Monday at the Maha Pathana Cave in Yangon.

Chairman Sayadaw of the State Sangha Maha Nayaka Committee Bhamo Sayadaw Dr. Bhaddanta Kumarabhivamsa presided over the meeting and the Joint Secretary Sayadaw of the Committee acted as the master of the ceremonies.

The meeting focused on a series of religious matters during the first period of the third branch of the Committee and made resolutions. Union Minister for Religious Affairs and Culture Thura U Aung Ko and many other officials also attended the meeting.
