Heavy Wind: Strong Wind Destroys 59 Houses In Kyauktaga Township

The strong wind hit in Kyauktaga Township of Bago Region in Sunday afternoon and houses, schools, clinics and monasteries were damaged.

The strong wind destroyed 59 houses, one rural dispensary, 3 schools and 2 monasteries in Myo Chaung, Taung Paw Su, Gwe Kone, Waing Gyi, Kinn Ywa and Si Sone Kone village-tracts in Kyauktaga Township, according to the Township General Administrative Department.

Officials and ward/village administrators are collecting the damaged lists and providing assistance to the affected villages.
