Covid-19 Report: Ministry Reports No New Covid-19 Cases At 8 A.M. On July 24

Ministry of Health and Sports at 8 a.m. on Friday reported no new COVID-19 cases after testing 508 lab specimens as the 2nd batch. COVID-19 cases in Myanmar remain at 343 with 6 deaths. While 282 patients have recovered from the disease, 269 of them have been discharged from the hospitals and put under quarantine.

The World’s worst-hit countries are United States of America, Brazil, India, Russian Federation, South Africa, Peru, Mexico, Chile and the United Kingdom, according to the World Health Organization. Globally, as of 7:02pm CEST, 23 July 2020, there have been over 15 million confirmed cases of COVID-19, including over 619,000 deaths, reported to WHO.

Most people infected with the COVID-19 virus will experience mild to moderate respiratory illness and recover without requiring special treatment. Older people and those with underlying medical problems are more likely to develop serious illness.
