Drug Seizures: Stimulant Tablets Worth Over 290 Million Kyats Seized

Thousands of stimulant tablets were seized, Ministry of Home Affairs reported. 194,000 stimulant tablets worth over 290 million Kyats were seized in Tachileik Township area of Shan State – 4 suspects were arrested along with the seizure.

Also, 5,850 stimulant tablets were seized in Kutkai Township area of Shan State – the seizure led to an arrest of a suspect. Actions were taken against the suspects under the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Law.
