Covid-19 Report: Ministry Reports No New Covid-19 Cases At 8 A.M. On July 21

Ministry of Health and Sports at 8 a.m. on Tuesday reported no new COVID-19 cases after testing 193 lab specimens as the 2nd batch. COVID-19 cases in Myanmar remain at 341 with 6 deaths. While 278 patients have recovered from the disease, 265 of them have been discharged from the hospitals and put under quarantine.

The World’s worst-hit countries are United States of America, Brazil, India, Russian Federation, South Africa, Peru, Mexico, Chile and the United Kingdom, according to the World Health Organization. Globally, as of 3:37pm CEST, 20 July 2020, there have been over 14.34 million confirmed cases of COVID-19, including over 603,000 deaths, reported to WHO.

Most people infected with the COVID-19 virus will experience mild to moderate respiratory illness and recover without requiring special treatment. Older people and those with underlying medical problems are more likely to develop serious illness.
