Kachin State Flood: Houses, Farmlands Flooded In Shweku Township Area

The water level of Ayeyawaddy River in Kachin State rose and flooded houses and farmlands in Shweku Township area.

Victims in wards and village-tracts in the township were evacuated and have now been taking shelter at religious buildings since the 11th of July. 6,143 acres of farmland have been inundated, Information and Public Relations Department reported.
