HK appoints new immigration director

Upon the nomination by Hong Kong Chief Executive Carrie Lam, the State Council appointed Au Ka-wang as the new Director of the Immigration Department on Thursday. Au Ka-wang thanks for the trust of the central government and vowed to fully support the national security law in Hong Kong and lead his contingent to safeguard prosperity of Hong Kong and national security.
