Expression Of Condolences: Un In Myanmar Sent Condolences Following Tragic Landslide

The United Nations in Myanmar sent a message of condolences following the tragic landslide in Hpakant of Kachin State on Thursday.

It stated that they are deeply saddened by the terrible loss of life due to a massive landslide at a mining site in Hpakant Township. The United Nations in Myanmar also commended the courageous efforts by the men and women involved in the difficult rescue and recovery efforts and extended its sincere condolences to the families of the victims and wishes the injured a speedy recovery.
