Covid-19 Prevention: Bus Lines In Moe Meik Carried Out Preventive Measures

After road transportation was temporarily suspended across the country to prevent the spread of COVID-19 disease, most bus lines have been resumed their operations at the moment.

The officials from each bus lines are also carrying out preventive measures in line with the regulations, issued by the Ministry of Health and Sports.

In Moe Meik Township of Shan State, the Township Bus Lines Administrative Committee conducted disinfectant spraying to all highway passenger buses with the support of the local military battalion on 10th June.

The activity aims for the passengers to have convenient and safe trip during the time of COVID-19 outbreak.

Administrator, Kyar Goung Bus Line, Ko Ko Naing said “With the guidelines of the military Battalion in Moe Meik, the disinfectant spraying has been conducted for 2 days. The passengers are also instructed to wear masks and use hand sanitizer. Although there have no confirmed cases in our township yet, we all need to be cautious.”

There are 5 highway bus lines in Moe Meik township and they are mainly running to Mandalay, according to the report of Ministry of Information and Public Relations Department.
