Covid-19 Update: Ministry Reports No New Covid-19 Cases At 8:00 A.M. On 9th Of June

Ministry of Health and Sports at 8:00 a.m. on Tuesday reported no new COVID-19 case after testing 740 lab specimens as the second batch. COVID-19 cases in Myanmar have now reached 244 with 6 deaths.

While 159 patients have recovered from the disease, 138of them have been discharged from the hospitals and put under quarantine.

The World’s worst-hit countries are United States of America, Brazil, Russian Federation, the United Kingdom, India, Spain, Italy, Peru, Germany, Islamist Republic of Iran, Turkey and France according to the World Health Organization. Globally, as of 4:00pm CEST, 9th June 2020, there have been over 6.9 million confirmed cases of COVID-19, including 400,857 deaths, reported to WHO.

Most people infected with the COVID-19 virus will experience mild to moderate respiratory illness and recover without requiring special treatment. 

Older people and those with underlying medical problems are more likely to develop serious illness.
