Myanmar / France: 20th Anniversary Celebration Of Myanmar-French Archaeological Project

The 20th Anniversary Celebration of Myanmar-French archaeological project was held on Friday evening at French Cultural Institute in Yangon.

The project was founded in 2001 as a collaboration between the French National Centre of Scientific Research and the Department of Archaeology of the Myanmar Ministry of Religious Affairs and Culture.

Myanmar-French archaeological cooperation paved a way for a study tour for excavations of the Bronze Age sites in Myanmar with assistance of foreign experts under the auspices of Departments of Archaeology and National Museums.
