Drug Incident: 86,400 Stimulant Tablets Seized In Tachileik

A combined team of Anti-Narcotics Drug Squad seized 86,400 stimulant tablets, a Crown vehicle and a mobile while searching the house rented by Gyaw Nyi Htwe at Hsan Sai (A) ward in Tachileik on Monday.

Likewise, police confiscated 0.209 kilo of heroin hidden in 22 soap cases in the backpack of passenger Htay Htay Shwe @ Htay Shwe and a mobile while searching a van at 21-mile inspection gate in Myitkyina on the same day.

Actions were taken against the suspects under the Narcotics Drug and Psychotropic Substances Law, according to the information released by the Ministry of Home Affairs.
