Thousands of stimulant tablets and heroin were seized, according to the Ministry of Home Affairs. 10,000 stimulant tablets were seized in Aungmyaythasan Township – 2 men were arrested along with the seizure.
20,000 stimulant tablets were seized in Kalaw Township – the seizure led to an arrest of two men. 2,150 stimulant tablets were seized in Taunggyi of Shan State – 2 men were arrested in this drug case. Also, 216 grams of heroin were seized in Htigyaing Township area – a man was arrested along with the seizure.
