Drug Busts: Heroin, Opium, Stimulant Tablets Seized

Heroin, opium and stimulant tablets were seized. 6.91 kilograms of heroin hidden in soap boxes and 59.8 kilograms of opium were seized in Kyaukse Township area of Mandalay Region – investigation is underway.

1,170 stimulant tablets were seized in North Dagon Township of Yangon Region – a man and woman were arrested along with the seizure, according to the Ministry of Home Affairs.
