

Yangon ICT Fair’19 and ICT Challenge Yangon is kicked on Friday at Tatmadaw Hall in Yangon.
Yangon ICT’s Fair’19 is a three day event organized by Myanmar Computer Industry Association and Myanmar Computer Professionals Association. This ICT fair is the second time in this year.
The latest computer models and related accessories, communication devices, hardware, software and many others ICT items from 49 companies are being displayed at total 124 display booths.
Different from the former ICT Fair, DOTA 2 Game Competition is also being held under the title of ICT Challenge Yangon 2019.
Chairman, Yangon Region Computer Industry Association, Myo Min Oo said “ E-Sport is being held even in SEAGAME. The game platform is also recognized as a kind of sport internationally. So, we organize a competition of DOTA 2 PC game to choose the champion. We named this competition as ICT Challenge Yangon. Ministry of Health and Sports also officially accept it and so, we try to provide this as a kind of sport. this is the first time of its kind held by our organizations.”
There are about 60 Teams for group competitions and about 70 competitors for solo challenge. They are competing stage by stage. The winner will be awarded a cash prize amounted 330, 000 kyats.
Yangon ICT Fair’s 19 and ICT Challenge Yangon is being held to raise the awareness of latest technological skills and knowledge for the public.
Chairman, Yangon Region Computer Industry Association, Myo Min Oo said “During the ICT fair, anyone can observe many products, services and training courses available in one place with one stop service on discount prices. We want to invite everyone to come and visit the ICT fair.”
Yangon ICT Fair’19 and ICT Challenge Yangon will be held for three days from 6th to 8th September.
