Zelenskyy calls for agreement on Russian frozen assets after signing jet deal

Ukrainian president Zelenskyy and Swedish PM Ulf Kristersson visited the SAAB fighter planes JAS Gripen production plant in Linköping on Wednesday. The latest model, the Gripen E, has just rolled out, and the two leaders signed a letter of intent for Ukraine to purchase between 100 and 150 of these planes, to be delivered within the next three years.

At a press conference, they spoke of what this will mean for the future of both Ukraine and Sweden. Zelenskyy also reiterated the need for and agreement on Russian frozen assets.
