As a pilot project, permission is being requested to start installation on 500 vehicles and priority will be given to install meters in CNG taxis. Plans are being made for metered taxis to start running at the airport.

Joint Secretary, YRTC, Lyan Cin Mang, said " Measure will be taken to install meter system on unmetered vehicles.
