Youth Talk: Shan State CM attends event at Taunggyi University

Shan State Chief Minister U Aung Zaw Aye attended the Youth Talk held at the Taunggyi University. In this event, the Chief Minister called for efforts for continuous youth development programmes.

In order to make the youth become good citizens in the future, various governments have adopted policies in all ages. To establish a good country, citizens need to be good. The Chief Minister also urged the youth to strive to become those who are full of knowledge and able to distinguish between good and bad.

Also, Deputy Minister for Sports and Youth Affairs U Zin Min Htet stressed the importance of youth for the future of the country. And, aims and objectives of the Youth Talk were explained. This Youth Talk focused on Youth and Education, Youth and Health, Youth and Sports, Youth and Character, Youth and Drugs, Youth and Technology and Youth and Reading.

The event also included a question-and-answer session. After the Talk, participants were awarded with cash prizes and gifts. And, Deputy Minister for Sports and Youth Affairs U Zin Min Htet provided sports gear to the Taunggyi University.
