Youth Talk: Magwe CM attends Yenanchaund Uni Youth Talk

Organized by Magwe Region Youth Affairs Committee, in cooperation with Information and Public Relations Department and Yenanchaung University, Youth Talk was held at the university on 8th of July along with the attendance of Chairman of Magwe Region Youth Affairs Committee, Region Chief Minister U Tint Lwin, officials concerned, faculty members and students.

First, the ceremony was opened with music performances of the students from Yenanchaung University. Then, Chief Minister U Tint Lwin gave the opening speech saying that the new generation youngsters are the future great human resources for the country and they are going to build the country forward taking responsibilities of the State and the Union. The 21st century, age of education challenges are needed to be overcomed with the educated and knowledgeable societies. And he added that students are urged to try to become the youngsters who could shoulder the State’s responsibilities by putting efforts into life long learning for the success.

Next, Rector of Yenanchaung University, Dr. Cho Cho Myint explained about holding the Youth Talk and expressed words of gratitude. It was follwed by the explanation about aims and outcomes of the talk by the Director of Region Information and Public Relations Department U Kyaw Khine Oo. Afterwards, the Youth Talk was held with 6 students from the Univsersity under the topics of Youth and Education, Youth and Benefits of Reading, Youth and Health, Youth and Social, Youth and Values of Culture and, Youth and Success. The attendees students raised the queries on the discussion and the talk participant students responed them and in which, the Region Government member, Economic Affairs Minister U Aung Chain made supplementary discussion.

Then, Magwe Region Chief Minister presented sports accessories provided by Region Youth Affairs Committee to Rector Dr. Cho Cho Myint, honorary certificates for the Youth Talk moderator and participant students, cash awards for the performer students and honorary certificate for Head of History Department of the University, Professor Dr. Kyaw Swe Oo who received the 2nd prize for state level Artical (Open Contest) commemorating World Environment Day under the title “Solution to Plastic Pollution” respectively.
