Youth Program: SSEAYP Departs For Malaysia

The 46th Ship for Southeast Asian and Japanese Youth Program – SSEAYP departed for Malaysia by Nippon Maru via Bo Aung Kyaw Port in Yangon, Monday afternoon.

Officials from the Ministry of Education, students and members of SSEAYP International Myanmar (SI Myanmar), parents and relatives saw off the students who take part in the program.

330 students from Southeast Asia countries and Japan including 28 youths and a supervisor from Myanmar participated in this year program. The 46th SSEAYP started on November 3rd from Japan and departed for Vietnam. From Vietnam, it left for Singapore and then Yangon.

While in Yangon, the youth contingents from SSEAYP visited 9 universities and met with the students. They also performed Institutional Visit and Interaction with local Youths program, visit to remarkable places and conducted homestay in the houses of Myanmar families.

The 46th youth contingents of SSEAYP will arrive in Malaysia on 29th November and they will depart from Malaysia on 2nd December. The program will be concluded in Japan on 12th December.
