Rival street rallies in South Korea highlighted a growing divide among the nation's youth after President Yoon Suk Yeol's controversial martial law decree last month.

At one rally, young conservative men, including evangelical Christians and Trump supporters, protested against calls for Yoon's impeachment. On the other side, young women and advocates for liberal causes such as LGBTQ+ rights, climate justice and labor rights demanded his immediate detention. The demonstrations reflected the deepening political polarization in the country.
