Youth Development Progaramme: Youth and literary arts festival held in NPT

The 3rd day of the Youth and Literary Arts Festival in Commemoration of 75th Diamond jubilee Independence Day was held at the MICC-II in Nay Pyi Taw, Wednesday.

62 booths from 11 ministries were displayed at the exhibition and the colorfully designed Pathein umbrellas business that is famous in Ayeyarwady region, local foods stalls, the books and periodical booths and many others booths attracted the visitors at the event.

With the aim of turning out the qualified and outstanding youths in the future, the well-known athlete’s statues were displayed at the booths, said the Director General of the Ministry of Sports and Youth Affairs.

I am very pleased to see that the children are interested in reading habit. There are different types of exhibits at the event. So, I think the students will gain a lot of knowledge."

The students at the event said there are different kind of booths displayed at the exhibition and they gain a lot of general knowledge by viewing around there. 

Student, No.9 B.E.H.S (Zabuthri township), Shin Thant Phyu said "We can see more diverse things at the literary booths than previous years. Everything’s more upgraded than last year. We can gain much knowledge through the exhibition. "

Student, ALPHA Private School, Win Lae Shwe Yee said "I am interested in history and in reading the historic books. We can gain general knowledge in addition to school lessons through the event. I am happy to look around the things, take photos and go around with my friends here."

In addition, The Great Myanmar, Thu Kyun Ma Khan Pi and Nga Ba historical films based on Myanmar history were also shown at the event for students and publics.
