Youth Affairs: Sagaing Region Committee holds coordination meeting

Sagaing Region Youth Affairs Committee held the work coordination meeting 1/2023 at the meeting hall of the Regional Government Office on Thursday with the attendance of Chairman of the Regional Youth Affairs Committee Sagaing Region Chief Minister U Myat Kyaw and officials.

At the meeting, the Chief Minister U Myat Kyaw provided some instructions to nurture the youth to become qualified citizens as Myanmar is planning to host the Minister level ASEAN Youth Affairs meetings and Higher Rank Official meetings in future.

As the Youth Affairs Central Committee also instructed to conduct vocational trainings and respective training courses including sport training courses for the development of the youth, summer sports training courses are being conducted in some districts and township providing 12 types of sports courses, he added. And, the Regional Minister for Social Affairs U Aye Hlaing and officials clarified the work implementation process and tasks undertaken by the committee and the Chief Minister coordinated the requirements and fulfilled the needs.
