Youth Affairs Committee: Thaninthayi region YAC held coordination meeting

Thaninthayi region Youth Affairs Committee held work coordination meeting at the regional Government office in Dawei Township on Tuesday.

At the meeting, Chairman of the Youth Affairs Committee Chief Minister U Myat Ko said that the meeting was held to implement the youth affairs which are included in social objectives of State Administration Council.

He urged all young people to contribute as a fundamental force in development progress of the country and to become skillful youths. He reiterated that enhancement of youth sector plays a vital role and is needed to put strenuous effort in its progress. He pointed out that the concerted efforts are needed to make for the emergence of young people with patriotic spirit to protect the country and the people.

Then, Region Sports and Physical Education Officer reported the 16 main aspects of youth development affairs involved in the National Strategic Plan for Youth Policy (2020-2024) and the departmental officials clarified about the work undertakings as per the department.

And, the Chief Minister coordinated the needs upon the reports and gave instructions for the formation of committees for the success of the tasks.
