Yemen's Huthis say they launched missile attacks on US targets

The Yemeni Armed Forces announced a series of coordinated drone and missile attacks targeting Israeli and American military assets in the region, including aircraft carriers operating in the Red Sea and Arabian Sea. 

According to the group, two operations targeted Israeli sites: a Yafa-type drone struck a location in Ashkelon, while a Sammad-1 drone was used against a site near Eilat, referred to by the group as Umm al-Rashrash. Citing retaliation for recent U.S. airstrikes in Yemen, including one in Sanaa, the group reported a pair of maritime strikes.

The first aimed at the USS Harry S. Truman and its escorts in the northern Red Sea, employing two cruise missiles and two drones. The second targeted the USS Carl Vinson and accompanying warships in the Arabian Sea with three cruise missiles and four drones. There has been no independent verification of the claimed attacks or resulting damage.
