Yemen's Houthi say targeted US aircraft carrier in the Red Sea

Houthi military spokesperson said the group carried out a "special military operation targeting the American aircraft carrier USS Harry Truman and its warships in the northern Red Sea with 18 ballistic and cruise missiles and a drone". 

The announcement came a day after the United States carried out a wave of air strikes on several Yemeni cities, killing at least 31 people and wounding 101 according to the Houthi health ministry.

He also confirmed that his group would "continue to impose a naval blockade on the Israeli enemy" in its area of operations, including the Red Sea, the Arabian Sea, the Gulf of Aden, and the Bab al-Mandab Strait, until the entry of aid into Gaza is permitted.
