Xi-Spanish PM meeting in Beijing

Chinese President Xi Jinping called on China and Spain to build long-term and stable bilateral relations with strategic determination and push ties to a higher level during a meeting with Spanish Prime Minister Sanchez in Beijing on Monday.

Xi also said that the two sides have since maintained close exchanges and interactions at all levels and promoted high-quality cooperation in new areas. Sanchez said his visit aims to deepen Spain-China ties and that Spain hopes to conduct constructive cooperation with China.
