Xi promises 'grand' Beijing Olympics in NY address

Chinese President Xi Jinping promised China will present a "grand" Winter Olympic Games during his new year address Friday. The 2022 Winter Olympics will kick off in February in Beijing and Zhangjiakou.

He also called for people in Hong Kong and Macao to work together to implement the "one-country, two-systems" arrangement in the two special administrative regions of Hong Kong and Macao.
